Maryland Crab Cakes
Serves 4 - 6

1 pound Maryland crab meat
1/2 cup cracker crumbs or bread crumbs
1 large egg
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon Frank's Seafood Seasoning
1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon dry mustard
Carefully remove all cartilage from crab meat. In a bowl, mix together eggs, mayonnaise, seafood seasoning, pepper, Worcestershire sauce and dry mustard. Add crab meat; imx evenly and gently. Gently fold in cracker crumbs. Shape into 6 cakes. Deep fry in oil at 350 degrees for 2 to 3 minutes until golden brown or saute in a frying pan with a little oil for 5 minutes on each side. You can also cook in the oven. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place crab cakes on a baking pan and bake for 15-18 minutes or til golden. Optional: Pour melted butter on top before placing in oven. The butter will make them nice and golden.
