Water and salt
Place lobster head first into boiling salted water to cover. The lobster should sink to the bottom of the pot. Boil as according to the size chart. NOTES: Allow 1 pound of lobster in shell, per person. A 2-pound lobster will yield about 8 oz. of cooked meat. A 1-1/14 pound lobster will yield about 3 to 4 oz. of cooked meat.
