Italian Grilled Tuna
Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 6-8 minutes
Makes 4 servings


¼ cup lemon juice
2 tablespoons virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon mint extract, or
2 teaspoons fresh, chopped mint
1 clove garlic, minced
½ teaspoon salt optional, or to taste
2 teaspoons black peppercorns,
crushed
4 6 ounce tuna steaks
1. Prepare grill or broiler.
2. Combine first 5 ingredients in a bowl. Mix thoroughly and set aside.
3. Press peppercorns into both sides of tuna steaks. Arrange tuna on a broiler rack and grill or broil 3-4 minutes per side or until tuna is browned on the outside and slightly pink on the inside. Remove from heat. Serve tuna steaks with mint sauce.
